At BuildWithPros, we want every purchase to feel like a confident decision. This page explains how returns and refunds work for each product type, so you know exactly where you stand before and after buying.

How Returns and Refunds Work — At a Glance

Digital products (videos, audiobooks, PDFs)
- Customer buys → Download link sent immediately
- No refund possible once the link has been issued (EU Directive Art. 16(m))
- Save your file or sign in to your account to maintain access
Coaching
- Before a session is booked → Full refund possible
- After a session is booked → Non-refundable (reschedule up to 48 hours before)
- Slots must be redeemed within 6 months
Clothes
- Order received → Email support within 14 days
- Ship item back (customer pays return shipping)
- BuildWithPros inspects (must be unused, unwashed, original packaging)
- Refund issued within 14 days
Protein bars and supplements
- Not damaged or wrong → Sale is final (EU Directive Art. 16(d))
- Damaged or wrong → Replacement or refund (contact within 48 hours)
Duties and import taxes
- Refund before dispatch → Full refund of duties
- After dispatch / cleared by customs → Duties typically not refundable
Digital Products
This section covers video guides, audiobooks, and PDF guides.
All digital content is delivered by email as a personal download link straight after purchase, so you can get started right away. Customers with a customer account can also access video and audiobook content through the BuildWithPros account library (streaming and re-download).
Because digital content is made available immediately, EU law (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU) provides that the right of withdrawal does not apply once delivery has begun, provided the customer has given express consent to this. By completing a purchase, the customer confirms this consent. For this reason, BuildWithPros is unable to offer refunds once the download link has been issued or the content has been streamed.
Before purchasing, we encourage you to read the product description and watch or hear any available preview. If you have questions about whether a product is right for you, contact us first at support@buildwithpros.com.
Download Link and Account Access
Your download link arrives by email and stays active for 30 days from the date of purchase. Please save the file during this period, as expired links cannot be reissued.
Customers who create a customer account at the time of purchase can re-download all purchased digital files and stream video and audiobook content from their account library for as long as BuildWithPros operates the Services. Customers who do not create an account have access only through the 30-day email link. See the Terms of Service for full details on account access and lifetime access limitations.
Customer Acknowledgement
When completing a purchase of a digital product, the customer confirms the following:
- Immediate delivery of the digital content is requested.
- By requesting immediate delivery, the right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU is waived.
- The download link is valid for 30 days after purchase, and the customer takes responsibility for downloading the content within this window or creating a customer account to maintain ongoing access.
- This Refund Policy and the Terms of Service of BuildWithPros.com have been read and accepted.
Coaching
Pro-level coaching with Shawn Ray is a scheduled service delivered through video sessions. The refund terms below apply to coaching purchases.
Before a Session is Scheduled
Coaching purchases can be refunded in full at any time before the first session has been scheduled in Shawn Ray's calendar. To request a refund, contact support@buildwithpros.com with your order number.
After a Session is Scheduled
Once a coaching session has been booked in Shawn Ray's calendar, the coaching purchase becomes non-refundable. This is because the time slot has been reserved and is no longer available for other customers.
Rescheduling
Coaching sessions can be rescheduled at no cost up to 48 hours before the scheduled time. Rescheduling requests within 24 hours of the session may be denied at Shawn Ray's discretion, in which case the session is considered used.
Expiry
Coaching slots must be redeemed within 6 months of the date of purchase. Unused coaching slots after this period expire without refund.
Non-Transferable
Coaching purchases are non-transferable. The coaching service can only be delivered to the original purchaser.
Protein Bars and Supplements
Protein bars and supplements are physical food products. Under EU law (Article 16(d) of Directive 2011/83/EU), food products that can deteriorate or expire are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal. This means that purchases of protein bars and supplements are final. We appreciate your understanding.
Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries
If something arrives damaged, defective, or simply not what was ordered, please get in touch within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. Send an email to support@buildwithpros.com with your order number and a photo showing the issue.
Under the Danish Sale of Goods Act and applicable EU consumer law, customers are entitled to a remedy where a valid claim is raised. BuildWithPros will assess the situation and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Clothes
When you buy clothes from BuildWithPros, you have a full 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. If something does not fit or meet your expectations, here is how to return it.
Right of Withdrawal
You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to notify BuildWithPros that you wish to return it. No reason is required. Simply send an email to support@buildwithpros.com with your order number before the 14-day period expires.
To ensure the return can be accepted, please make sure the following conditions are met:
- The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition and packaging.
- Your order number and contact details are enclosed with the return.
- The item reaches BuildWithPros within 14 days of your withdrawal notification.
- Return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer.
Once the return has been received and checked, a refund will be issued within 14 days to the original payment method. Please note that BuildWithPros hold the refund until the item has been physically received and its condition confirmed.
Exchanges
BuildWithPros does not process direct exchanges. If you need a different size or variant, simply place a new order and return the original item following the steps above. Shipping costs for both the return and the new order are covered by the customer.
Duties and Import Taxes
For international orders where duties and import taxes are collected at checkout (delivered-duty-paid shipping), the following applies to refunds:
Refunds Before Dispatch
If an order is refunded before it has been dispatched from Denmark, duties and import taxes collected at checkout will be refunded in full along with the product price and shipping cost.
Refunds After Dispatch
If a refund is processed after the parcel has been dispatched, BuildWithPros will refund duties and import taxes only if the carrier confirms that these amounts have not yet been remitted to local customs authorities. Once duties have been paid to customs on the customer's behalf, they are typically not recoverable from the carrier and may not be refunded.
Returned Goods
For clothing returns shipped back from international destinations, customers are responsible for any duties or taxes that may apply to the return shipment to Denmark, as well as the cost of return shipping. The original duties and import taxes paid at checkout are not refunded once the parcel has cleared customs in the destination country.
Return Address
Please use the address below for clothes returns only. Digital products, protein bars, supplements, and coaching are not eligible for return, as explained in the sections above.

Affiliate Products
This policy covers purchases made directly on BuildWithPros.com. Products listed on BuildWithPros.com under affiliate partnerships are fulfilled directly by the affiliate partner under their own terms and return policy. Refund and return requests for affiliate products must be directed to the partner, not to BuildWithPros. The partner's terms apply to all such purchases. Affiliate products are clearly labelled on the relevant product pages.

If a matter cannot be resolved directly, EU consumers have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Customers in Denmark may also contact the Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet) at www.forbrug.dk.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes take effect when published on BuildWithPros.com. The version in place at the time of purchase is the one that applies to that order.
By placing an order on BuildWithPros.com, the customer confirms having read this policy and agrees to its terms, as well as to the Terms of Service of BuildWithPros.com.
